About the components part of the Vacuum Pump:
1. For the carbon vane, it can be used around 3000hours, then you replace the carbon vane because the carbon vane is with friction. It is a consumable part.
2. Also bearing is consumable, it can be used around 2-3years., Other parts can be used for a long time. Bearings need to be refueled regularly. It needs to be refueled once when it working 500-1000 hours.
3. For the whole pump, you can use at least 8years. No problem.
